There has been no activity in the Adélie Linux Git repositories over the past week, because of severe weather. Our utmost priority is the safety and security of our team, and seven of our 12 regular contributors – over half – have been under tornado warnings in this past week.
Our sympathies are with those who have lost their homes, their property, or worse, their loved ones throughout this severe weather.
We can report that while no actual commits have been made to our Git repositories, our community has still been working on things during this event. Max Rees (sroracle@) has a merge request for updating WINE to 4.0, bringing support for many more applications and games to x86 Adélie; Gavin Howard (gdh) has a merge request for version 2.0 of his
bc calculator; and Laurent Bercot (skarnet@) is hard at work on s6-linux-init.
We would like to thank all of our related communities for their support during this event. We look forward to returning to form and delivering great code and a great Linux distribution very soon.
On behalf of the Adélie Linux team, all of our best,
